Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Esch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Bonner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Bonner!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esch swats away the attempt to clinch by Bonner.
Bonner throws a combination that misses
and Esch makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bonner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bonner tries to clinch there but Esch circles away.
Bonner throws a nice looking combination but Esch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bonner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bonner tries to close the distance and clinch but Esch swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Esch keeps the fight on the outside.
Bonner misses with a few strikes there.
Esch looks to score with a jab to the body but Bonner is just out of range.
Bonner looks to land a combination but Esch avoids it well.
Bonner moves in looking to clinch but Esch pushes him off.
Esch dodges the punch combination from Bonner.
Esch thuds a left hand into Bonner's body.
Bonner looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Esch misses the shot to the body.
A combination from Esch does no damage.
Esch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bonner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Esch forces Bonner back against the cage and clinches.
Esch breaks the clinch.
Esch scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Esch tries to bum rush Bonner with a series of wild strikes but Bonner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Esch scores with a sloppy right hand. Bonner should have avoided that one.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Esch connects with a looping right hand.
Esch misses with a hook.
Esch is looking to wear down Bonner with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Esch cracks a nice hook into Bonner's ribs.
Esch throws a series of punches but Bonner moves out of range.
Esch lands a big right hand that sends Bonner crashing to the mat! Esch stays standing though and waves Bonner back to his feet!
It looks like Dan Bonner has been cut.
Esch fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Esch engages and cracks Bonner with a massive lead left hook - Bonner tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Esch is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eric Esch!
