Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harvey Holcomb!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Holcomb.
Holcomb scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
An inside leg kick from Mann misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Holcomb misses the target.
Mann fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Holcomb to the ground. Mann is now in Holcomb's guard.
Holcomb not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mann passes Holcomb's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mann lands strikes from half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mann is looking for a kimura here.
Holcomb regains full guard. Nicely done.
Holcomb looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mann is one step ahead there.
Holcomb is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mann postures up and lands a big shot to Holcomb's brow.

Holcomb had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mann defends it easily.

Mann is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Holcomb is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Mann is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Holcomb regains full guard. Nicely done.
Holcomb has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mann can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mann looks to land a strike but Holcomb avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Mannis looking to pass into half guard but Holcomb pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Holcomb is in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holcomb has gone for a leg lock! Mann slips out almost immediately though and dives into Holcomb's guard.
Holcomb controls Mann momentarily but Mann frees himself.

Mann in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Mann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holcomb swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mann with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Mann keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Holcomb's head.
The cut above Harvey Holcomb's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Harvey Holcomb's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
