The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bigjones misses with a wild combination.
Thug feints and then cracks Bigjones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bigjones down.
Bigjones throws a series of punches but Thug moves out of range.
Good leg kick by Thug there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bigjones tries a head kick but it misses.
Bigjones takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Orlando Bigjones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thug throws a sloppy head kick and Bigjones moves out of range easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bigjones crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thug - the referee stops the clock and Bigjones gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thug. Bigjones manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A head kick from Thug lands but Bigjones takes it in his stride.
Bigjones throws a right hand that Thug ducks under and follows up with a left that Thug also avoids with ease.
Thug throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Thug lands a head kick. Bigjones smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bigjones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thug lands with a thumping leg kick.

and Thug counters with a head kick. That will keep Bigjones thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
