Eric Kofhal is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuck Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eric Kofhal!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kofhal swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kofhal misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kofhal looks for a takedown but Gracie sprawls well.
Kofhal tries a head kick but it misses.
Kofhal fails to land the takedown.
Kofhal slips a jab and a cross from Gracie.
Gracie tries to clinch but Kofhal moves out of range.
Gracie throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kofhal fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kofhal misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kofhal wants to clinch

and Gracie counters by moving into the clinch.
Kofhal takes a knee right on the jaw!
Gracie lands a nice shot to the body.
Gracie throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kofhal blocks it with crossed arms.

Kofhal pulls guard successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kofhal wants to get back to his feet but Gracie is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kofhal trying to control the position.
Kofhal looks gassed!

Gracie stands and steps away. Kofhal gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kofhal should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gracie, right into the meat.
Kofhal takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Gracie scores with a spinning back kick!
Gracie cracks Kofhal with an open hand slap.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie throws out a loose jab but Kofhal uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kofhal shoots in but Gracie avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Chuck Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Kofhal.
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kofhal slips under a jab from Gracie.
Kofhal throws a sloppy head kick
and Gracie counters with a head kick that wobbles Kofhal - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Gracie sends him down. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Gracie!
