Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Ladin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sione Coconut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladin comes to the cage accompanied by Highway to hell. On his way into the cage it seems that Ben Ladin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ben Ladin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Ladin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sione Coconut!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coconut misses with a straight left.
Donk. Coconut catches Ladin right on the button with a cross.
Coconut avoids the head kick by Ladin.
Coconut throws a right and a left that both miss.
Coconut blocks a head kick by Ladin.
Coconut tries to clinch up.
Coconut jabs at Ladin's body.
Coconut misses with a double jab.
Ladin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sione Coconut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coconut lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ladin circles away quickly and effectively.
Coconut is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ladin.
Coconut throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ladin.
A big right from Coconut misses.
Coconut looks to land a combination but Ladin avoids it well.
Ladin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from Coconut.


It looks like Ben Ladin has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Coconut throws a combination that misses
and Ladin counters with a stiff right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ladin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Ladin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Coconut misses with a looping right.
Ladin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ladin throws a sloppy head kick and Coconut moves out of range easily.
Coconut has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Coconut there as he acknowledges the shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Coconut forces Ladin back against the cage and clinches.
Ladin lands a knee to the body.
Coconut looks gassed!
Ladin unloads a knee to the mid-section. Coconut lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Coconut is looking to control Ladin's arms but Ladin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Coconut has his back to the cage.
Ladin gets through Coconut's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Ladin lands a knee to the body.
Ladin works on Coconut's body with a couple of short punches.
Ladin with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.


It looks like Sione Coconut has been cut.
Ladin crunches a lovely knee into Coconut's ribcage.
A short right from Ladin on the inside.
Ladin lands with a light punch inside.
Ladin lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Ladin lands a knee to the head.

Coconut is rocked!
Ladin lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ladin works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Ladin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Coconut is defending well for now.
Ladin lands a hook that snaps the head of Coconut backwards.
Ladin putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Coconut in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Ladin lands a left hand that snaps the head of Coconut backwards.
Ladin misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Coconut.

Ladin drops Coconut with a big knee straight up the middle! Coconut is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Coconut is still on wobbly legs! Can Ladin finish him?
Look low, kick high! Ladin uses the oldest trick in the book to send Coconut tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Ladin is absolutely delighted - when Coconut wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ben Ladin!
