Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Berting Araw!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araw throws a head kick but Lapu moves out of range.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Araw. Lapu shrugs it off though.
Lapu throws a sloppy head kick and Araw moves out of range easily.
Lapu lands a big head kick that sends Araw tumbling to the mat! Lapu takes a step backwards and waves Araw back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lapu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A punch lands to the side of Araw 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That has opened up Berting Araw's cut even more.
Araw should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Good leg kick by Lapu there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Araw has eaten all the pies!

Lapu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Araw.
Araw is still on wobbly legs! Can Lapu finish him?
Araw wants to stay close but Lapu steps back to make room for something. Araw seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Lapu and Araw drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lapu Lapu!
