Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tristin Shonuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Magalhaes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shonuck comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. Vince Magalhaes is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magalhaes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shonuck looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Shonuck is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Shonuck is not content to let Magalhaes control the position.
Magalhaes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Shonuck kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Magalhaes slows the pace down.
Shonuck is trying to get back to half guard.
Magalhaes throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Shonuck works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shonuck is staying active underneath Magalhaes, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Magalhaes seems content to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Vince Magalhaes.
Shonuck thuds his shin into the meat of Magalhaes's side.

Shonuck moves into the clinch successfully.
Shonuck looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Shonuck is pressed up against the cage. Magalhaes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shonuck down to the mat. Shonuck avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Shonuck closes the distance looking to clinch

and Magalhaes counters with a takedown into side control.
Magalhaes misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Shonuck is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Magalhaes has just dragged him back down to the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Magalhaes is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Shonuck will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Shonuck on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shonuck tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Magalhaes is working to tighten is grip on Shonuck's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Shonuck has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Magalhaes is really squeezing tight and eventually Shonuck passes out! Magalhaes breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
