Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Numa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakuraba's entrance music is Lose yourself. A fine choice. Numa has chosen Ladies and Gentlemen as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kazushi Sakuraba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keiji Numa!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Numa fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sakuraba is out of range.
Numa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sakuraba counters with a thumping low kick.
Numa moves away from the strike by Sakuraba.
Numa throws a leg kick but Sakuraba checks it.
Sakuraba scores with a kick to the body.
Numa misses with a leg kick.
Sakuraba takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sakuraba lands with a right hand.
Numa misses with a two punch combination.
Sakuraba throws out a leg kick but Numa moves out of range and Sakuraba only half commits.
Sakuraba throws a body kick that misses.
Sakuraba misses with a few strikes there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sakuraba.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sakuraba throws a combination that misses
and Numa counters with a head kick. That will keep Sakuraba thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Numa misses with a low kick.
Numa connects with a single shot there.
Numa takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Numa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sakuraba lands a jab to the head.
Numa throws a leg kick but Sakuraba sees it coming and moves out of range.
Numa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sakuraba.
Numa takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Numa takes a kick to the side of the head.
Numa is rocked!
Numa drops his hands momentarily. Sakuraba doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Numa staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Numa doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kazushi Sakuraba!
