The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laane throws a nice looking combination but Groszek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Groszek looks to score with a jab to the body but Laane is just out of range.
Mariusz Groszek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Groszek needs to keep his hands up - Laane had a free shot at his head there.

Groszek drops Laane with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Laane looks back up at him and smiles so Groszek waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Groszek breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Groszek ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Laane out cold! The fight is over!
