The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to clinch but Son is having none of it.
Rolando Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie looks to land a combination. Son sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Gracie clinches up against the cage.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Son tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Son gets back to full guard.

Son has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Son looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Gracie is defending well. Son quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Gracie has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Son celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
