Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Antoine Chamakh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chamakh falls off balance throwing a combination
and White makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
White lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
White jabs Chamakh right on the nose. Chamakh blinks but takes it well.
Chamakh takes one on the chin but seems OK.
No joy there for Chamakh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
White throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chamakh tries to clinch up.
White loads up on a big right hand but Chamakh slips the punch.
A jab from Chamakh does it's job there.
Eric White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chamakh moves away.
Chamakh lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as White backs up against the cage.

Chamakh throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and White counters with a stiff right hand.
Chamakh uses good head movement to avoid the hook from White.
Chamakh tries to score a power double leg takedown but White sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chamakh somewhat.
Chamakh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chamakh lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

White connects with a body shot that sends Chamakh's belly button to the back.
Eric White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chamakh needs to keep his hands up - White had a free shot at his head there.
Chamakh misses with a hook. White ducked under it nicely.
White scores with the left hand. Chamakh knows he should have avoided that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Chamakh counters with a series of strikes. White will be more careful next time no doubt.
Chamakh looks to land a combination but White avoids it well.

White digs a good body shot into Chamakh's ribs.

White is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Chamakh had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
White throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chamakh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

White throws a front kick aimed at Chamakh's knee but Chamakh avoids it well.

Chamakh moves out of range as White strikes.
Chamakh takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
White throws a jab but it's blocked by Chamakh.
Chamakh tries to move into range but White moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
White scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
White darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
White misses with a hook. Chamakh ducked under it nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chamakh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Chamakh takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Chamakh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. White manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chamakh uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from White.
White throws a right hand that misses
enabling Chamakh to counter with a crisp jab.
White throws an overhand right that lands on Chamakh's shoulder, as Chamakh tries to avoid the shot.
White scores with a nice head shot.
White misses the shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from White. Chamakh does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chamakh takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

White pulls out of a head kick attempt.
White throws a jab when Chamakh was well out of range.
Chamakh misses with a two punch combination.
Chamakh fails to land with a series of punches.
White lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chamakh circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Eric White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
White throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chamakh sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Eric White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
