Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Hawks!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTowlie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hawks but Hawks pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hawks avoids the head kick by McTowlie.
McTowlie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hawks napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
McTowlie trying to control the position but Hawks is working away.
Hawks wants to control but McTowlie postures up.
McTowlie prevents Hawks from escaping the position.
Hawks trying to remain calm as McTowlie controls from the top position.
McTowlie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McTowlie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hawks has one of McTowlie's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hawks tries to escape but McTowlie is in control.
McTowlie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hawks on the ground.
Hawks sneaks back into half guard.
Hawks manages to escape and get back to his feet!
McTowlie circles away from the clinch attempt.
McTowlie misses with a leg kick.
Hawks shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McTowlie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hawks passes easily into side control. Nice work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hawks is working to tighten is grip on McTowlie's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McTowlie has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hawks is really squeezing tight and eventually McTowlie passes out! Hawks breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
