Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Basti Haddl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knock Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haddl slips a straight right by Out.
Out lands a nice shot that snaps Haddl's head back.
Haddl uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Out.
Out defending well as Haddl loads up on a big left hand.
Out uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Haddl.
Haddl misses with the combination.
Out moves out of range as Haddl strikes.
The crowd cheers as Out lands an impressive looking overhand right. Haddl doesn't seem phased though.
Haddl misses with a body shot.
Out keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Haddl.
Haddl blocks a jab.
Haddl throws a good cross that connects.
Out swings for the body but Haddl moves out of range.
Out looks for the body kick but Haddl saw that one coming.
Haddl tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Out's corner calls for a 1-2. Out obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Haddl throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Out pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Out dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Out ducks under a wild hook from Haddl.
Out throws out a loose jab but Haddl uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Haddl digs a good body shot into Out's ribs.
Out throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Haddl pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Out back to the cage. Haddl follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Out throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Out defending well as Haddl loads up on a big left hand.
Out stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Out misses with an uppercut.
Out uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Haddl.
A big right from Haddl misses.
Out is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Haddl.
Out scores with a hook to the body. Haddl takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Haddl throws a lazy right hand but Out sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Haddl takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Out is looking to land body kicks.
Haddl throws a left and a right that both miss
and Out connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Haddl thows a body shot but no joy.
Out is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Haddl had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Out with a nice cross.
Out lands with a nice body punch.
Out fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Haddl on the side of the head.

Haddl throws a hook but Out blocks it.
Haddl misses the shot to the body.
Out connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Out scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Out's jab looks to have found its range, popping Haddl under the eye.
Nice uppercut lands for Out. That snapped Haddl's head back.

Haddl is rocked!
Haddl loads up on a big right hand but Out slips the punch.
Out keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Oh Haddl is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Out is pawing at Haddl, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Haddl's nose. Haddl is badly hurt! Out pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Haddl tries desperately to hold on but Out is relentless in his assault! As Haddl receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Out away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Knock Out!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Knock Out waved his t-shirt featuring 1337 ANZAC 's logo in front of the cameras.
