Mamarou comes into the arena with R Kelly-World Greatest blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamarou shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alvares napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mamarou lands an elbow.
Alvares wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Alvares is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Mamarou is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Alvares is trying to escape and Mamarou transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Alvares is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mamarou! Very nice indeed!
