Matsu comes into the arena with LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Okamoto's choice of entrance music: Fleur de lis - Jucifer. Hatsu Matsu has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okamoto misses with a straight right.
Matsu throws a head kick but Okamoto moves out of range.
Matsu bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Okamoto's head.
Matsu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Okamoto throws out the jab.

Matsu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Matsu is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Okamoto has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Matsu is looking to defend but Okamoto has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Matsu! Okamoto pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Matsu taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Takeo Okamoto! Takeo Okamoto retains his light heavyweight title!
Takeo Okamoto gave a mention to Happy Pills in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
