The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laser shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Religion pinned against the cage. Religion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Laser keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Religion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Laser but Laser pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Religion feints and as Laser raises his hands in defense, Religion changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Laser manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Religion manages to get himself to full guard.

Religion clinches up against the cage.

Religion escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Religion moves out of range of the body kick from Laser.

Laser changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Religion looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Laser working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Religion is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Laser off and has taken his back!
