The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jokinen Jr circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jokinen Jr drives through and clinches with Kwon Hoi against the cage.
Jokinen Jr should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kwon Hoi misses with a knee strike.
Kwon Hoi tries a knee to the head but Jokinen Jr blocks it.
Kwon Hoi connects with a nasty looking knee right to Jokinen Jr's face.

It looks like Thomas Jokinen Jr has been cut.
Jokinen Jr on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kwon Hoi using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jokinen Jr has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Kwon Hoi throws a knee to the head but misses.
Jokinen Jr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kwon Hoi just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kwon Hoi with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Jokinen Jr goes for a takedown attempt but Kwon Hoi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jokinen Jr keeps the fight on the outside.

Kwon Hoi doesn't manage to clinch there - Jokinen Jr circles away.

Jokinen Jr tries to keep at a distance but Kwon Hoi has taken the fight into the clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kwon Hoi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jokinen Jr's brow.
Kwon Hoi tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Kwon Hoi is breathing heavily.

Kwon Hoi gets underhooks to prevent Jokinen Jr's takedown attempt.
Lemon Kwon Hoi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Jokinen Jr.
Kwon Hoi tries to land a knee to the head but Jokinen Jr blocks with his arms.

Jokinen Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Jokinen Jr counters with a takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jokinen Jr tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Jokinen Jr has hold of Kwon Hoi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kwon Hoi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jokinen Jr cranks the arm and Kwon Hoi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kwon Hoi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
