Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan's entrance music is Gangnam Style. A fine choice. Green has chosen Hall of Fame as his entrance music. Michael Jordan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green moves out of range of the strikes.
Jordan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Green counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jordan's guard now.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Green closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Green really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jordan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Green is nestled in close to Jordan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Green is taking a breather. Jordan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Danny Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
