Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between No Gi Arcinas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pounder has chosen Bliss N Eso-Field of Dreams as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arcinas throws a head kick that misses.
No Gi Arcinas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pounder lands with a cross.
Arcinas lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pounder backs up against the cage.
Arcinas tries a head kick but it misses.
Arcinas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Arcinas throws a body kick that misses.
Pounder misses with a few strikes there.
Arcinas misses with a two punch combination.

Arcinas throws a series of punches but Pounder moves out of range.
Arcinas goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Arcinas wants to land a leg kick but Pounder is out of range.

and Arcinas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Arcinas misses with a combination
and Pounder cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pounder moves out of range as Arcinas throws a body kick.
Arcinas throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pounder counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Arcinas has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pounder finds it's way round the side to connect with Arcinas's head.

and Arcinas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Arcinas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Arcinas is breathing heavily.
Pounder with a jab.
Pounder throws a jab when Arcinas was well out of range.
Arcinas misses with a double jab
and Pounder counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A punch lands to the side of Arcinas 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Pounder displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Arcinas throws out the jab.

Arcinas on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Arcinas throws a sloppy head kick and Pounder moves out of range easily.
Arcinas takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Arcinas takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Arcinas gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Arcinas works over Pounder's head and body with a nice combination.
Arcinas swings widly with a right hand
and Pounder counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Arcinas falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pounder counters with a one-two to the body.

and Pounder counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Arcinas thinking.
Pounder uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Arcinas.
Pounder missing with a left hand there. Arcinas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Pounder counters with a left to the body.

and Pounder counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Oh Arcinas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for No Gi Arcinas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pounder cracks Arcinas with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Arcinas falls to his knees and Pounder doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
