Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darrian Ashoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chop Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick has chosen Prodigy - No Good as his entrance music. Darrian Ashoka could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chop Dick's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darrian Ashoka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chop Dick!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashoka lands with a kick to the temple. Dick shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Chop Dick has been cut.
Dick takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ashoka tries a head kick but it misses.
Ashoka lands with an uppercut that bounces Dick off the cage and back into range.
Ashoka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ashoka tries to sprawl but Dick drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ashoka gets back to full guard.
Dick wants to pass the guard but Ashoka is keeping the position.
Ashoka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dick's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ashoka passes Dick's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dick is not content to let Ashoka control the position.
Ashoka landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Ashoka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ashoka throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Ashoka moves into full mount! Dick won't be happy about that!
Dick tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ashoka sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Poor strikes thrown by Ashoka there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Ashoka prevents Dick from getting the reversal.
Ashoka misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ashoka goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dick is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ashoka seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ashoka throws a head kick that half lands.

That has opened up Chop Dick's cut even more.
Ashoka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dick.
Ashoka throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Dick counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ashoka lands a head kick!
A lazy left from Dick finds it's target.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ashoka throws a head kick that misses.
Ashoka misses with a kick to the body.
Dick blocks a leg kick.
Dick blocks a head kick by Ashoka.
Ashoka swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Dick counters with a takedown into side control.
Ashoka tries to improve position but can't.
Ashoka is trying to control Dick's posture but Dick avoids it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ashoka dodges the ground and pound from Dick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darrian Ashoka dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Chop Dick's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Ashoka counters with a nice uppercut.
Ashoka lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Dick avoids the head kick by Ashoka.
Ashoka throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ashoka tries to land a leg kick but Dick saw it coming and moves away.
Dick has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ashoka.
Dick is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ashoka.
Darrian Ashoka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ashoka, right into the meat.

Donk. Ashoka catches Dick right on the button with a cross.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ashoka!

The cut above Chop Dick's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ashoka connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dick momentarily.

Chop Dick's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ashoka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ashoka.
Dick takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ashoka connects with an inside leg kick.
Dick is breathing heavily.
Ashoka throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

A head kick from Ashoka lands but Dick takes it in his stride.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chop Dick's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
