PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bart Meesters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and New Tall Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meesters bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Meesters really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Meesters is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Guy's shoulder. That is not cool.
Guy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Meesters is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Guy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Meesters escapes and throws Guy's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Meesters is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Guy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Meesters is looking to defend but Guy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Meesters! Guy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Meesters taps out and this one is all over!
