The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osman looks to score with a jab to the body but Anderson is just out of range.
Osman looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jan Osman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Osman needs to keep his hands up - Anderson had a free shot at his head there.

Osman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Anderson.

Osman drops back looking for a leg! Anderson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Anderson manages to kick Osman off! Osman jumps back into Anderson's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anderson is on top in guard.

Osman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Osman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Anderson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Osman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Osman tries to get to full guard but Anderson has control of the leg.

Anderson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Osman is just riding it out for now. Anderson eventually gives up the hold.
Osman is trying to stand up here but Anderson is controlling him well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anderson connects with a nice short shot to Osman's temple.

That was a close round but I would say that Reggie Anderson will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

A bone on bone clash there as Anderson blocks the leg kick.
Osman digs a good body shot into Anderson's ribs.
Osman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Osman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Anderson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Osmans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
