Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Zuzhinin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Fearsbrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zuzhinin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Гимн СССР. Fearsbrock has chosen chicken dance as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Vladimir Zuzhinin had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Zuzhinin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Fearsbrock!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Zuzhinin or perhaps it was just good defense by Fearsbrock which made him look bad.
Zuzhinin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fearsbrock tries to avoid it but Zuzhinin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fearsbrock to the ground. Fearsbrock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zuzhinin shoots in for a double leg but Fearsbrock sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir Zuzhinin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fearsbrock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zuzhinin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Zuzhinin shoots in but Fearsbrock avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zuzhinin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fearsbrock throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fearsbrock misses with a few strikes there.

Zuzhinin shoots in and bounces Fearsbrock off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Fearsbrock is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Fearsbrock controls Zuzhinin momentarily but Zuzhinin frees himself.
Zuzhinin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fearsbrock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fearsbrock is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Zuzhinin is looking for a sweep. Fearsbrock is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zuzhinin gets back to full guard.

Zuzhinin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Zuzhinin is breathing heavily.
Fearsbrock slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Fearsbrock in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fearsbrock wants to get up but he can't break Zuzhinin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Fearsbrock is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Zuzhinin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fearsbrock is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Zuzhinin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fearsbrock's back instead.

Zuzhinin is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Fearsbrock won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Zuzhinin off his unconscious opponent!
