Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Monteiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Frambach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas Frambach will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monteiro gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Frambach to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Monteiro has his foot on Frambach's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Frambach works his way back into a safe position though.
Frambach content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frambach with a nice head shot there.
Frambach really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Monteiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Frambach working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Monteiro wants to sweep here but Frambach controlling him for the moment.

Frambach stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Monteiro has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Frambach manages to get his head free but now Monteiro has transitioned to an armbar! Frambach grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Monteiro! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
