The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Vengeance takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Vengeance misses with a hook. Starsky ducked under it nicely.

Vengeance closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Starsky quickly recovers to half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Starsky can do anything to dispel that myth.

Vengeance is working for a kimura but Starsky is defending it quite comfortably.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vengeance is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Starsky leaves Vengeance with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Starsky paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Vengeance takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Starsky lands a left and a right that send Vengeance crashing to the mat, dazed. Starsky thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Starsky, as that shot connected.

Starsky drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Vengeance right on the button. Vengeance goes down! Starsky follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Starsky gets the win via TKO!
