Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Devon Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Mcgarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Devon Gonzalez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Micky Mcgarry!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gonzalez.

so Gonzalez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gonzalez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mcgarry working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gonzalez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gonzalez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gonzalez has got his arm under Mcgarry's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Mcgarry has spun round into Gonzalez's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Mcgarry has gone for a leg lock! Gonzalez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mcgarry's guard.

Devon Gonzalez opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
