The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eliot wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but woling has him pressed against the cage.

woling escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Eliot gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Eliot is looking to stand up but woling won't let him.

woling has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Eliot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Eliot stands and steps away. woling gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

woling throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Thomas Eliot has been cut.

Eliot will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
woling shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Eliot as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for jk woling. That's going to take a lot out of him.

woling misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
woling looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eliot is fending him off so far but woling persists. Nope, Eliot circles away and we're back to standing.

and Eliot counters with a three punch combo that has woling backing up. woling nods at Eliot to acknowledge the strikes.
Horrible takedown by woling or perhaps it was just good defense by Eliot which made him look bad.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

woling changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eliot looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That was a close second round but I would say that jk woling will probably get the nod.

Eliot wants to control but woling is keeping busy and won't allow it.
woling wants to lay and pray for a moment but Eliot keeps working.
