Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiger Lily (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vaughn comes into the arena with The Godfather blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Vaughn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tiger Lily!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lily takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Vaughn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lily was well out of range. Poor timing from Vaughn.
Lily looks to score with a jab to the body but Vaughn is just out of range.
Vaughn goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Tiger Lily has been cut.
Lily tries to clinch there but Vaughn circles away.
Vaughn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lily.
Lily tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Vaughn counters with an outside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vaughn throws a jab but it's blocked by Lily.
Lily avoids the head kick by Vaughn.
Vaughn thumps Lily with a low kick.
Lily throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lily takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Lily fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lily tries to clinch but Vaughn is having none of it.
Lily has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Vaughn.

Vaughn lands a nice hook to Lily's body. Lily takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Vaughn circles away from the clinch attempt
and Vaughn counters with a slapping leg kick.
Lily takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lily tries to close the distance and clinch but Vaughn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vaughn swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vaughn uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A decent looking cross lands there for Vaughn.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lily moves in looking to clinch but Vaughn pushes him off.
Lily slips a jab and a cross from Vaughn.
Vaughn lands with a slapping head kick.
Lily tries to close the distance and clinch but Vaughn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vaughn gets tackled into the cage by Lily. Lily maintains the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Vaughn blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Vaughn blocks an uppercut.
Lily taking a breather.
Vaughn is looking to break free of the clinch but Lily has double underhooks.
A bit of stalling here from Lily.
Vaughn manages to break the clinch.
Vaughn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lily doesn't manage to clinch there - Vaughn circles away.
Lily has closed the distance and engaged Vaughn in a clinch.

and Vaughn makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Vaughn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lily thinking.

Lily shoots in looking for a takedown but Vaughn manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lily's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lily steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vaughn.
Lily thows a left - swing and a miss!
Vaughn misses the jab.
A slapping leg kick lands for Vaughn.
Vaughn throws a lazy right hand but Lily sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lily looks to clinch
and Vaughn counters with a leg kick.
Vaughn swats away the attempt to clinch by Lily.
Vaughn throws a body punch but Lily moves out of range.
Tiger Lily seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lily throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vaughn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lily on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Vaughn lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Vaughn swats away the attempt to clinch by Lily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vaughn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lily stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vaughn throws a nice inside leg kick.
Vaughn throws a head kick that Lily semi-blocks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Vaughn dominated that round.

Vaughn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lily is breathing heavily.
Lily moves to clinch but Vaughn breaks away
and Vaughn counters with a low kick, right behind Lily 's knee.
