The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiyana uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Murphy.
Murphy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Murphy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Akiyana moves into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Murphy misses with a punch on the inside.

Akiyana has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Murphy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

A relieved looking Erick Murphy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
