Peltola is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Biggest & The Best. Atte Peltola has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peltola waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Vihtala.
Vihtala throws a shot to the body.

It looks like Peltola might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Atte Peltola has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Vihtala lands a nice hook to Peltola's body. Peltola takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Both fighters circling a little - Vihtala finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Vihtala feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Peltola's calf.
Vihtala throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Peltola's head.

It looks like Atte Peltola has been cut.
Peltola shoots in for a takedown but Vihtala shows good takedown defense.
Peltola throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vihtala counters with a good, hard body kick but Peltola shrugs it off.

Vihtala buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peltola on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Vihtala. Vihtala obviously looking to wear him down.
Vihtala lands a jab to Peltola's midsection.
Peltola throws a big shot that misses.
Peltola takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Vihtala buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Vihtala connects with a looping right hand.
Vihtala scoring well with a low kick there.
Vihtala uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Peltola has time to react.
Vihtala lands with a kick to the temple. Peltola shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Peltola takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Aleksi Vihtala is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Peltola takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice takedown defense from Vihtala. No joy for Peltola on that attempt.
Peltola takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Vihtala cracks Peltola with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Peltola throws a lazy uppercut
and Vihtala counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Vihtala throws a quick inside leg kick.
Peltola's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Peltola sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

A chopping leg kick lands by Vihtala.
Peltola is looking to chop away at Vihtala's legs.
Vihtala smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Vihtala throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vihtala stuns Peltola with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Vihtala scores with a head kick. Peltola tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That has opened up Atte Peltola's cut even more.
Vihtala connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Vihtala counters with a nice leg kick.
That kick from Vihtala tenderised Peltola's leg. Peltola is trying to keep his angry face on.
Vihtala fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Peltola.

Vihtala lands a big head kick that sends Peltola tumbling to the mat! Vihtala takes a step backwards and waves Peltola back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Peltola is rocked!
Vihtala lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Peltola can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Vihtala and Peltola drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Vihtala.
