Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Heimo Hulahula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Marx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

31 - 16 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Marx!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx punishes Hulahula's body with a nice straight punch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hulahula is defended easily by Marx.
Heimo Hulahula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hulahula stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hulahula stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hulahula wants it to stay on the feet.
Hulahula lands the left hand.
Marx connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hulahula lands a jab to the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hulahula, as that shot connected.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marx fakes the leg kick and cracks Hulahula in the body.

Hulahula shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Marx manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marx can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hulahula controls the pace.
Mark Marx has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hulahula throws out a powerful jab.
Hulahula looks to score with a jab to the body but Marx is just out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marx buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Marx thumps Hulahula with a low kick.
Marx shoots in but Hulahula avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hulahula misses with an uppercut. Marx saw that one coming.
Hulahula lands the left hand.
Marx takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A head kick misses from Marx.

A cross from Hulahula lands.
Hulahula lands a nice shot that snaps Marx's head back.
Hulahula drops Marx with a nice combination! Hulahula dives into Marx's guard, looking to finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hulahula is nestled in close to Marx, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hulahula slips a nice elbow through Marx's hands, connecting with Marx's forehead.
Hulahula lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Marx quite badly. Marx pulls Hulahula in close trying to recover. Hulahula postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Marx on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Marx doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Heimo Hulahula!
After winning the bout, Heimo Hulahula thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
