The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Carvalho is trying hard to land a takedown here. Butcher sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Butcher looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Butcher throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Butcher throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Carvalho on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The fighters circle momentarily. Carvalho darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Percival Butcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carvalho checks the leg kick.
Carvalho tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Butcher swivels and escapes.
Butcher throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Matheus Carvalho has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Butcher scores with a head kick. Carvalho tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Butcher connects with a right hand. Carvalho shakes it off.

Carvalho is rocked!
Carvalho sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Carvalho is still on wobbly legs! Can Butcher finish him?
Carvalho looks gassed!
Butcher knocks out Carvalho with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Butcher before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Butcher picks up the big W with a huge KO!
