Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pytorvra Narcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dakota Martin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Pytorvra Narcus's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pytorvra Narcus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin lands a glancing blow to the side of Narcus's head.
Narcus tries to bum rush Martin with a series of wild strikes but Martin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Martin clinches.
Narcus wants a takedown.
Martin prevents a takedown attempt there.
Martin is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Dakota Martin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pytorvra Narcus.

Martin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Martin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Narcus gets tackled into the cage by Martin. Martin maintains the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Narcus is trying to drag Martin to the mat but Martin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Narcus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Martin has him pressed against the cage.

Martin gets control of Narcus's arms and successfully pulls guard. Martin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Martin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Narcus!
Martin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big strike lands for Martin! That's really hurt Narcus and he's turned his back - Martin keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Martin jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

In his post fight interview, Dakota Martin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
