Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Hudson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Stinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Garrett Hudson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Freddy Stinger!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stinger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hudson but Hudson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hudson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stinger circles away quickly and effectively.
Hudson connects with a single shot there.
Stinger shoots in looking for a takedown. Hudson tries to sprawl out of it but Stinger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hudson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stinger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Garrett Hudson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Stinger.
Sloppy strikes from Hudson. Those never looked like landing.

Stinger gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Freddy Stinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stinger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hudson as he jumps to the side.

It looks like Freddy Stinger has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hudson lands a really nice looking cross but Stinger seems unphased.
Stinger shoots in for a takedown but Hudson shows good takedown defense.

Stinger slips under a jab from Hudson.
Hudson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nice takedown defense from Hudson. No joy for Stinger on that attempt.
Stinger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hudson's waist but Hudson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stinger off to one side.

and Hudson counters with a crisp one two that drops Stinger! Hudson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Stinger to his feet! Stinger is in big trouble!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stinger takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Stinger is still on wobbly legs! Can Hudson finish him?
Hudson cracks Stinger on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Stinger falls backwards against the cage. Hudson follows up with more strikes that drop Stinger to his knees. Hudson keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Stinger! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Garrett Hudson!
Garrett Hudson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
