Orton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is BOOM by P.O.D.. Abdel Salam has chosen PRO PAIN - SHINE as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdel Salam throws a big shot that misses.
Abdel Salam swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Abdel Salam uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Orton.

It looks like Mansur Abdel Salam has been cut.
Orton feints a jab promting Abdel Salam to slip. Orton then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Abdel Salam slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Orton misses with a hook. Abdel Salam ducked under it nicely.

Orton avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Orton takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Orton throws a body punch but Abdel Salam moves out of range.
Abdel Salam misses with a hook. Orton ducked under it nicely.

Abdel Salam cracks Orton with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Abdel Salam has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Orton to stand back up!

Orton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Abdel Salam pinned against the cage. Abdel Salam gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fighters circling - Abdel Salam throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Abdel Salam knocks Orton out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
