Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Savo Tieros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tieros comes to the cage accompanied by All Over You-Live. Rivers has chosen Cyco Vision as his entrance music. Stan Rivers will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tieros throws a sloppy head kick
and Rivers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rivers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tieros was well out of range. Poor timing from Rivers.
Rivers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nice defenses there by Rivers.
Tieros shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rivers but Rivers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tieros misses with a double jab
and Rivers counters with a left and a right that stings Tieros.
Nice shot lands for Tieros.

Rivers darts in and clinches Tieros up against the cage.

Rivers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Rivers counters with a big head kick but Tieros shrugs it off.
Rivers plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Tieros looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stan Rivers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tieros misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rivers, right into the meat.

and Rivers counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Tieros is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rivers.

Tieros throws a nice looking combination but Rivers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rivers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rivers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Tieros throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rivers has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Rivers looks to land a combination. Tieros sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Tieros looks for a takedown but Rivers sprawls well.

Rivers misses with a series of wild punches.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rivers darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tieros closes the distance but Rivers moves to the side
and Rivers makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Rivers is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Rivers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tieros circles away quickly and effectively.
A head kick misses from Tieros.
Tieros throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rivers catches Tieros with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rivers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tieros keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Rivers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tieros is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tieros throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rivers.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stan Rivers dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rivers misses with a few strikes there.
Tieros shoots in and drives through. Rivers sprawls well.
Tieros looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tieros tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rivers is able to avoid easily.
Tieros takes a kick to the side of the head.
Rivers scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tieros in his tracks.
Rivers throws a series of strikes that have Tieros backpedaling.
Tieros swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tieros throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rivers's waist but Rivers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tieros off to one side.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Tieros. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Tieros has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tieros there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tieros is looking to clinch but Rivers is avoiding it.
Rivers tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tieros fails with the takedown.

Rivers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tieros swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rivers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Savo Tieros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rivers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tieros.

Rivers moves into range and clinches up with Tieros.
Tieros tries to break free but Rivers pushes him back against the cage.

Rivers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rivers scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Tieros falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rivers counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Tieros is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Rivers connects with a nice looking jab.
Tieros is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Tieros looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rivers is fending him off so far but Tieros persists. Nope, Rivers circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Rivers counters with a two punch combo.
Tieros shoots in but no luck this time.
Tieros tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rivers was well out of range. Poor timing from Tieros.
Rivers pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tieros back to the cage. Rivers follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Rivers darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Tieros throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rivers counters with a big head kick but Tieros shrugs it off.

Tieros is rocked!

Rivers moves into the clinch.
Oh Tieros is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rivers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tieros seems to have got his legs back now.
Rivers circles away from the clinch attempt
and Rivers counters with a head kick that wobbles Tieros - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Rivers sends him down. This one is all over!
