Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lucas Souza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Neolan Funkyama!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama scores with a head kick.
It looks like Lucas Souza has been cut.
Souza shoots in for a double leg but Funkyama sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Souza is looking to clinch but Funkyama is avoiding it.
Souza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Funkyama tries to avoid it but Souza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Funkyama to the ground. Funkyama escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Souza will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Funkyama throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Souza's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Funkyama delivers a nice body kick.
Funkyama lands a lovely overhand right.
Souza misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Souza darts in trying to clinch
and Funkyama counters with a head kick that drops Souza to the mat! Souza scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Funkyama digs a good body shot into Souza's ribs.
Souza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Funkyama but Funkyama pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Souza. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Souza tries to clinch but Funkyama is having none of it.
Funkyama lands a leg kick that knocks Souza off balance momentarily.
Funkyama displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Souza.
Souza is breathing heavily.
Souza looks for a takedown but Funkyama sprawls well.
Souza misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Neolan Funkyama is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Funkyama lands a head shot.
Lucas Souza's cut is getting worse.
Funkyama lets loose with a powerful body kick. Souza will feel that in the morning.

Souza stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Funkyama.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Funkyama.
Funkyama throws a head kick that half lands.
Funkyama uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Souza.
Funkyama lands a big head kick that sends Souza tumbling to the mat! Funkyama takes a step backwards and waves Souza back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Souza is rocked!
Lucas Souza's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Funkyama lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Souza - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Funkyama!
