Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Edward lands an impressive looking overhand right. Miyaguchi doesn't seem phased though.
Miyaguchi keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Edward. Miyaguchi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Miyaguchi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A combination from Edward does no damage.
Edward blocks a jab.
Edward on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Good work by Edward as he checks the leg kick.
Edward fails with an attempt to clinch.
Miyaguchi throws a push kick but Edward slaps the foot to one side.
Miyaguchi throws a front kick that sends Edward stumbling back into the cage.
Miyaguchi throws out a loose jab but Edward uses good head movement to avoid it.

Miyaguchi takes a swing at Edward's ribcage but misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miyaguchi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Edward checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Edward tries a low kick but Miyaguchi avoids it.

Miyaguchi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Edward, pushing him back against the cage.
Miyaguchi tries a body shot but Edward blocks it.

Miyaguchi lands a left hand that snaps the head of Edward backwards.
It looks like Ryan Edward has been cut.
Nice body punch from Edward - that landed with a thud.
Edward lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Miyaguchi looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Edward tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Miyaguchi misses with a hook to the ribs.
Miyaguchi blocks an uppercut.
Edward digs a right hand underneath Miyaguchi's ribcage. Miyaguchi let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Edward lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Edward can't find room to land a body shot as Miyaguchi controls the action.
Edward misses with a hook from the clinch.
Miyaguchi tries a body shot but Edward blocks it.
Miyaguchi wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Edward stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Edward lands a right hand.
Edward lands a right hand that snaps the head of Miyaguchi backwards.
Edward lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Edward working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Miyaguchi tries to pull guard but Edward holds him up against the cage and eventually Miyaguchi drops back down to his feet.
Edward lands a body punch.

Edward gets through Miyaguchi's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Edward scores with a nice hook to the head.
Edward makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Edward.
Miyaguchi is rocked!
Miyaguchi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Edward's elbow.
Miyaguchi is still on wobbly legs! Can Edward finish him?
Edward drops Miyaguchi onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Miyaguchi is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Edward pushes Miyaguchi against the cage. Edward is working some dirty boxing. Edward pushes off with a quick right hook! Miyaguchi goes down! Miyaguchi tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Edward moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Edward!
After the fight, Ryan Edward was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
