Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaylen Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamari Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Webster comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wild Boy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jamari Webster!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webster shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jones tries to clinch there but Webster circles away.
Webster throws a shot to the body.
Webster shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Webster takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Webster shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jaylen Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamari Webster.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.
Webster fails to land the takedown.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Webster but Webster pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Webster tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jones has his foot on Webster's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Webster works his way back into a safe position though.

Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Webster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Webster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Webster which made him look bad.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Webster circles away.
Webster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Webster jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Webster gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Webster shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Webster keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Webster jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Webster gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jones lands a nice hook to Webster's body. Webster takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Webster shows good takedown defense.
Webster throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Webster off to one side.

Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Webster sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Webster tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jones's elbow.
Webster is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jaylen Jones decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
