Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trenton Clements (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Fitzpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clements closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fitzpatrick to the mat! Fitzpatrick manages to get full guard.

Fitzpatrick has his foot on Clements's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Clements works his way back into a safe position though.
Clements really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fitzpatrick wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clements keeps working.

You can see the frustration on Clements's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clements is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fitzpatrick is thwarting Clements's attempts to control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Clements is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fitzpatrick pulls his head out easily.

Clements is defending against the submission attempts here by Fitzpatrick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Clements fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fitzpatrick, pushing him back against the cage.
Clements gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Fitzpatrick working for a triangle but Clements defends it easily.
Fitzpatrick has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Clements should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Fitzpatrick has tightened it up now! Clements should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Simon Fitzpatrick decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
