Cash kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hurt - Johnny Cash. Peippo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Public Enemy - Terminator X to the Edge of Panic kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Johnny Cash could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kari Peippo's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Peippo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nice shot lands for Cash.
Peippo misses with a body shot.
Cash keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Peippo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Cash throws a sloppy head kick and Peippo moves out of range easily.
Cash fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peippo manages to avoid it.
Cash gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Peippo throws a jab but it's blocked by Cash.
Cash scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Cash takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Cash throws a leg kick which misses Peippo's front leg but catches the back leg as Peippo tries to avoid it.

and Peippo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Peippo.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Peippo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Peippo looking to sit in guard and control but Cash gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Peippo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Peippo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cash is in a horrible position here. Peippo smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Peippo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cash has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Cash is desperately trying to improve his position but Peippo has a good base and remains in mount.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
