The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dorian gets a takedown into half guard.
Dorian seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Dorian moves into full mount! Rayson won't be happy about that!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rayson wants to hold on but Dorian pushes him away.

Dorian is working for a kimura but Rayson is defending it quite comfortably.

Rayson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dorian. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dorian holds on and takes a little breather.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dorian is on top in guard.

Rayson tries to lock up and control but Dorian gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dorian has hold of Rayson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rayson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
