Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julian Linguist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Basher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Basher's choice of entrance music: Hunt You Down- Saliva. Julian Linguist has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linguist throws a looping overhand right but Basher ducks down to avoid it.
Linguist misses with a combination

It looks like Julian Linguist has been cut.
Linguist swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Basher lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Basher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Linguist.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Basher counters with a nice uppercut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Basher takes a swing at Linguist's ribcage but misses.
Basher shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Linguist eats them both and turns towards Basher to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Linguist lands a body shot.
Linguist goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Basher is rocked!
Basher tries to get into range but Linguist steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Basher! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Linguist scores the big KO victory!
