Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Dash!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Brown both land. Nice combination.


It looks like David Dash has been cut.
Brown closes the distance and lands a one-two.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dash closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Brown's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Dash sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brown's guard.

Dash seems to be working for a kimura but Brown defends the submission attempt.
Dash content to control rather than advance.
Dash is thwarting Brown's attempts to control the position.

Dash is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dash seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Brown escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dash gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dash drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Brown dives on top into guard.

Dash is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brown is aware though and is defending well.

Brown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Brown stands and throws Dash's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Brown throws a strike aimed at the side of Dash's head but Dash avoids it well.
Dash is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it.
Brown trying to control the action but Dash is working from the bottom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on David Dash's cut.
That's time! Brown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Dash shoots in but no luck this time.
Dash walks into a stiff left hand from Brown.
Brown lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brown.


That has opened up David Dash's cut even more.
Brown moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Paul Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown lands with a nice body punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Danga de danga de dang - Brown scores with a four punch combination!
Brown cracks a nice hook into Dash's ribs.
Brown misses with a few strikes there.
Paul Brown is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dash doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Brown drops Dash with a beautiful combination! Dash stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Brown is looking for the KO!

The cut above David Dash's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Brown lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Dash falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
