PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Dillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yorick Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dillan comes into the arena with Kick Ass blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yorick Brown!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dillan.
Dillan looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely.
Brown moves out of range as Dillan strikes.
Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dillan.
Dillan scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Dillan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brown napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Brown's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dillan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brown - the referee stops the clock and Dillan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brown. Dillan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Brown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dillan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brown scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dillan doesn't seem bothered though.

Yorick Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Dillan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dillan throws a shot from downtown. Brown moves away and avoids it.
Dillan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Dillan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brown lands a nice shot that snaps Dillan's head back.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brown dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dillan. That did some damage!
Brown stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Dillan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Brown stalks Dillan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dillan's face. Dillan staggers backwards, shaken.
