Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Satoshi Saitama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tong Po!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po throws a sloppy head kick and Saitama moves out of range easily.
Saitama bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Po's head.
Saitama throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Saitama swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice jab there from Po.
Po keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Po scores with a kick to the midsection.
Po lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saitama just misses with a punch to the body.
Po tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Saitama swivels and escapes.
Saitama on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Po. Po obviously looking to wear him down.
Saitama throws a hook but Po blocks it.
Po stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Po connects with a body shot that sends Saitama's belly button to the back.
Saitama throws a hook but Po avoids it easily.
Saitama pivots, looking for a leg kick but Po is out of range and Saitama settles back down.
No joy there for Saitama, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Po lands a jab to Saitama's midsection.
Saitama is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Saitama misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Po.
Po comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Left hook, right uppercut from Po.
It looks like Satoshi Saitama has been cut.
Po sends Saitama crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Po is motioning to the referee to let Saitama up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Saitama is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Po moves into the clinch.
Po works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Po.
Oh Saitama is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Po digs a right hand into Saitama's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Saitama's gas tank.
A hook to the body from Po.
Po pushes off and lands a massive hook that knocks Saitama out cold! The fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tong Po!
Tong Po gave a mention to Firebird Designs in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
