The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeVoutert scores with a body shot.

Per closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
DeVoutert is trying to control but can't.
DeVoutert is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Per scores with a couple of nice shots.
DeVoutert is trying to stand up here but Per is controlling him well.
Per with the ground and pound but DeVoutert uses the opportunity to regain guard.

DeVoutert is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Per is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Per cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

DeVoutert has left one of his arms exposed and Per doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. DeVoutert screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
