Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Janjak Boran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ano Aukanaii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boran kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lief Klein Konijntje. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boran is looking to clinch but Aukanaii is avoiding it.
Boran goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The fighters circle momentarily. Boran darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Aukanaii feints and then cracks Boran's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boran down.
Boran keeps Aukanaii at a distance using the push kick.
Boran misses with a hook
and Aukanaii counters with a nice uppercut.
Boran throws a low kick, looking for Aukanaii's leg but Aukanaii calmly moves out of range.

Boran gets caught napping as Aukanaii dives in and scores a takedown. Boran manages to retain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Aukanaii stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boran swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Janjak Boran wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Boran feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Aukanaiis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Aukanaii makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Boran throws a sloppy head kick and Aukanaii moves out of range easily.
Boran misses with a hook. Aukanaii ducked under it nicely.
Boran tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Boran darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Aukanaii closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Aukanaii closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Boran is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Aukanaii is looking for a kimura here.

Boran is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Aukanaii is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aukanaii throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boran tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Aukanaii is in Boran's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aukanaii accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Janjak Boran will probably get the nod.

Boran gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Boran moves in looking to clinch but Aukanaii pushes him off.
Boran throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Aukanaii sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Boran takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Aukanaii displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boran throws out the jab.

Boran tries to clinch but Aukanaii is having none of it.
Aukanaii stalks Boran and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Boran's face. Boran staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boran uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Aukanaii.

Aukanaii closes the distance and clinches up with Boran, looking for a takedown. Aukanaii pushes Boran against the cage but Boran circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Boran uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Boran turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Boran stuns Aukanaii with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
