The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent throws a push kick but Schmidt slaps the foot to one side.
Schmidt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Schmidt is looking to clinch but Kent is avoiding it.
Schmidt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kent but Kent pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kent swings widly with a right hand
and Schmidt counters with a slapping leg kick.
Schmidt lands with a kick to the temple. Kent shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Schmidt shoots for a double leg takedown but Kent sprawls well. He's pushed Schmidt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Schmidt throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kent scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Kent tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kent has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kent is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Schmidt is trying to escape and Kent transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Schmidt is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kent! Very nice indeed!
