The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veenstra fails with the takedown.
Veenstra misses with an uppercut. Dukic saw that one coming.
Dukic keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dukic connects with a crisp jab.
Dukic scores with a hook to the body. Veenstra takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Veenstra shoots for a takedown but Dukic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zdravko Dukic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pj Veenstra.
Dukic throws out a leg kick but Veenstra moves out of range and Dukic only half commits.
Dukic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dukic wants it to stay on the feet.
Dukic lands a nice hook to Veenstra's body. Veenstra takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dukic's corner calls for a 1-2. Dukic obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Veenstra takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dukic chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Veenstra shoots in for a takedown but Dukic shows good takedown defense.
Veenstra tries to land a leg kick but Dukic saw it coming and moves away.
Dukic digs a good body shot into Veenstra's ribs.
Veenstra looks gassed!
Dukic lands a nice looking body kick.
Veenstra misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dukic wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Dukic scores with a jab.
Dukic sends Veenstra crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dukic is motioning to the referee to let Veenstra up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Veenstra is rocked!

Dukic fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Veenstra is still on wobbly legs! Can Dukic finish him?
Dukic ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Veenstra's jaw. Veenstra's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Dukic does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
